Being able to sheetroek on
September l is a good sign since that shows we will be a month behind schedule and.now
Buf r e will be able to provide a make-up schedule. Rick said he is confident we can get the
project back on schedule and lufree will give a rough schedule and critical path schedule.
• Rick explained that at this stage,he needs undivided attention of the project team and Rick
therefore recommended to the Planning and Construction Committee that we either forego
Subcommittee monthly meeti gs or reschedule for a different time or on an as-needed bads.
Rick emphasized.that the Subcommittee is always more than welcome to Borne to the site, but at
this stage the contractor has to be really focused on the construction. There was a lengthy
discussion back and forth with suggestions of having architect come to meeting earlier than ten
o'clock; changing time of construction meeting; or changing Subcommittee meeting schedule. It
was finally agreed to change the Subcommittee meeting time to 9 a.m. for their August o"'
meeting and to meet on an as-needed basis.
a Mashpee Commons will be doing the installation of the curbing after Labor Day. On the sketch
provided by Rick and attached to the printed set of these minutes,Rick pointed out that the
parking space designated"open'will be terpoarily left open for NStar to get in and out but once
the transformer is delivered then curbing will go in and the space designated as a parking space.
0 Even though Mashpee Commons doing the curbing,Rick asked Emerald Excavation to do the
layout for the curbing and to Monitor the curb installation to ensure it is going'in at the right
elevations. Rick said it will probably take 2 Emerald Excavation staff working one-half a day
each for this assignment.
