Both departments found the site to be <br /> favorable for a system. It may be possible to install up to a 2 MW system. e lslatlon 1s <br /> . <br /> currently pending in the MA Legislature that may make such a project more financially <br /> viable and attractive for a private company to install a large system through a Joint- <br /> venture, <br /> lease or other arrangement. The legislation would require utility companies to <br /> purchase a certain percentage of Renewable Energy Credits R Cs from sola-renewable <br /> energy projects, increasing the value of the R Cs. The Town is awaitffig awaitingthe possible <br /> passage of this legislation to pursue the project further. <br />
