PCO/Change Order Log was discussed,particularly Change Order#6 in the amount of$6,525. Rick <br /> advised that with items in this Change Order#6,design changes amounted to$47,000 and that represents <br /> only about%of a percent. Gene S argon stated that he thinks it is time to go after the architect and <br /> engineer to recover that$47,000 for the Town. Rick explained that the-architect was very clear from the <br /> beginning that normally changes are needed in the -3%range. Rick said we will probably end up still <br /> less than 1 and that is a,very reasonable amount. Both Catherine Laurent and Rick Pomroy again <br /> discussed how this was reviewed with Town Counsel. Irving Goldberg recommended that we continue to <br /> move along and look at it when we have completed the project and see the final percentage. Rick pointed <br /> out that there were no delays due to any of the charges. Also,Rick said he put together a report on the <br /> change orders and the impacts. At next month's meeting Rick will show the Committee the chart that he <br /> put together. <br /> Motion: Sheldon Gilbert motioned to approve Change order#6 in the amount of$6,528; Joe Brait <br /> seconded this motion;and it was approved by all Committee members pent except Janice Mills <br /> and Gene Smargon,who opposed the motion. Rick explained that in mid- <br /> December one of the floor contractors said they wouldn't install Boor because it was too wet.
