PCO/Change Order Log was discussed,particularly Change Order#6 in the amount of$6,525. Rick advised that with items in this Change Order#6,design changes amounted to$47,000 and that represents only about%of a percent. Gene S argon stated that he thinks it is time to go after the architect and engineer to recover that$47,000 for the Town. Rick explained that the-architect was very clear from the beginning that normally changes are needed in the -3%range. Rick said we will probably end up still less than 1 and that is a,very reasonable amount. Both Catherine Laurent and Rick Pomroy again discussed how this was reviewed with Town Counsel. Irving Goldberg recommended that we continue to move along and look at it when we have completed the project and see the final percentage. Rick pointed out that there were no delays due to any of the charges. Also,Rick said he put together a report on the change orders and the impacts. At next month's meeting Rick will show the Committee the chart that he put together. Motion: Sheldon Gilbert motioned to approve Change order#6 in the amount of$6,528; Joe Brait seconded this motion;and it was approved by all Committee members pent except Janice Mills and Gene Smargon,who opposed the motion. Steve Cook bad not yet arrived at the meeting. Book Man g meat System...A System... question was raised as to how manor books s have been tagged thus far. Catherine said she will check with Helene I eFoe and e-mail.the Committee the number of tagged books. Sign ..Rick Pomroy advised that for the more visible areas of the library the group has been me tix with sign designers and the company will put together some schemes for everyone to review. MBL ...Rick said that Patience Jackson is retiring but will continue with our project to its conclusion. UTS TESUNG...Listed with the invoices for approval is one from UTS. Rick explained that in mid- December one of the floor contractors said they wouldn't install Boor because it was too wet. UTS did a moisture test and the test carne back negative so there was no moisture. Invoices The following 7 invoices were submitted for approval for payment. 0 $360,053.00- Bu#T" a Bldg.
