December 09 Activities — Sub-committee meeting was held on 12/10. Construction meetings were held on <br /> 12/10, 12/17 and 12/24. PA conducted coordination meetings with Maslip e IT on 12/3, Mashpee's phone <br /> vendor on 1214 and Mashpee's sign vendor on 12131. Mashpee FD performed n official inspection on 12/17 <br /> and Chief Baker toured the fiiclllty on 1213 <br /> Progress for the month consisted of;-EXTERIOR — Brick pavers-when weather permitted, the entrance <br /> columns were erected, the siding staining was completed, the East property line was dressed up and mulched <br /> and the site lighting was installed. INTERIOR — The interior finishes continued and the majority of wort <br /> consisted of millwork and flooring. All lighting fixtures have been installed the fire alarm has been completed <br /> and rung out, plumbing fixtures installed and the sprinkler system was completed. The HVAC controls were <br /> also installed and the entire system was balanced. <br /> . Projected January 10 Activities—Sub-committee meetiners are scheduled for 1/7 and 1/21. During the month <br /> of January we expect that all interior work will he complete and punch list inspections will have taken place. <br /> We will have also expected that a Certificate of Occupancy will have been issued and equipment training <br /> sessions have begun. During January, the tuns-over packages for the owner will be reviewed and assembled. 4 <br /> .Also during the month we expect final testing and adjusting of the systems to take place. We expect to see the <br /> Owner's book stack t be delivered towards the end of the-month and installation to begin immediately. Also <br /> during the month we. expect the Owner's permanent phone service to be active and the security system <br /> operational. <br /> . Construction Schedule — The contractor will not meet the January 8th Substantial Completion deadline. <br /> B ffkree has requested an extension of the deadline to January 2 , 2010 with a 100% completion by mid <br /> February 2.01 . Discussion on this issue is necessary as the contract deadline is January 8, 201 . <br /> 4. Substantial Completion — The Owner should be prepared for this date. The contractor will still be in the <br /> building, but for all intensive purposes the building responsibility falls on the Owner. All of the systems will <br /> be up and running and the building will be secure but we recommend that the building insurance is something <br /> which should be finalized before Substantial Completion. <br /> 5. Project Changes—Presentation of CO 4 6. S ce attached KUM report. Discussion on new.and open PCO s. <br /> . Book Management System -R Helene and staff are under way with the boob conversion process. All other <br /> operational components will be shipped to the temp Library no later than January t'. <br /> 7. LEED — No new information at this time.
