J. <br /> Ellis,Janice Mills,and Joe Bralt. <br /> Absent: Tricia ParlsliOfficioMember). <br /> Also Present: Catherine Laurent,DPW <br /> Helene DeFoe,,Library Director <br /> Rick Pomroy,Pomroy Associates <br /> Taylor McDonald,Pomroy Associates <br /> Jane Dolan—Liaison,Library Trustees <br /> Chairman Steve Cook called the meeting to order at 635 p.m. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Janice Mills motioned to accept the minutes of the Meeting of January 27,201 o;Joe Brait seconded the <br /> motion; and the motion was unanimously approved. <br /> Library Project <br /> Taylor McDonald provided the update as detailed in the update report attached to the printed set of hese <br /> minutes. <br /> Rick said the LIED flush-out may not be done by March 1; it will be done after Buf ree leaves <br /> the building. <br /> Rick explained that the millwork finishing is what has slowed things down. <br /> Big issue will be site work...punch list not yet completed for that. Rick said he would like to see <br /> contractor get it done in March and that is attainable if weather holds out. <br /> Only outstanding training is the solar training. Firewall issues with Town's system have been <br /> addressed and once that's finished the Solar training can be done. Rick explained that they ran <br /> into a problem with the signal getting through Mashpee's firewall. That has been resolved-and <br /> the vendor will come backto do final programming and then testing will be done. In the <br /> meantime, the touch seen monitor'is in storage for safekeeping. <br /> Iry commented that his concern is the system is dragging and the problem is we have an end date <br /> that's getting away from us. Rick said the firewall is not under the contractor's control. Rick <br /> explained it took 2 weeks to straighten out the firewall.issue. <br /> • Iry Goldberg again voiced his concern that the contractor performance in recent weeps is missing. <br /> Iry pointed out the delays on the painting; locks for the doors still not in;and rug installation not <br /> completed. Iry said this has become a schedule problem. <br /> Steve Cook also expressed concern about meeting the enol date. Rick said after the last meeting <br /> the contractor bumped up the painting crew and they're now moving along. <br />
