Library Project(continued) 3M_Book Management System...Helene said 3M had to come back a couple of times to make adjustments. They're not sure if it is hardware, software,or patron issue. The technician felt if patron putting their personal items(such as a purse)down too close to the signal that could be an issue. The technician is replacing the hardware,then if still a problem we'll get new software and work on training patrons not to place their personal items too close. Furnishingss..Catherine said the new furniture arrived and we get to keep the"miniature version". Helene said Janet Burke will be happy to hear that. Change Order Log Item...Rick submitted Change Order#8 for approval. Motion: Janice Mills motioned to approve Change order#8 as presented;Irving Goldberg seconded this motion; and it was unanimously passed, MBLC...Rick said the final submission is to take place for the last 10%. Following needs to be submitted: • Certification that the construction contracts are complete and that all liens have been released. Rick said that's what they'll receive from the contractors. 0 Occupancy Permit...which we have. Any missed monthly reports...l one missing; all monthly reports were sent to Patience Jackson. • Final Narrative. Helene said she will do the narrative. Final Audit of the Project. Rich said he would provide some of the information and some Town will do. Rick will rough out the info and send it to Joyce Mason. Landscap%Rick shoved original landscape design and suggested adding back to the landscaping what was originally deleted. lick is to ask landscaper for pricing. Helene said we had 3 memorial trees that were moved and asked what was done to the trees and the memorial plaques on them. Catherine said the 3 trees were moved to the cemetery and they are memorialized on the bricks because there are no plaques on the trees. Donor Wall Payment Rick will have signage looked at. Sign Design submitted invoice and question arose as to who is responsible for payment. Iry said the donor wall is for the Friends and the Friends said they would pay for the plaques. Helene said the Friends were talking about doing little stars and what was done was much more expensive and they dict not have any say into what was done. The consensus of the Committee was that Catherine should discuss with Joyce Mason on ... perhaps as a compromise Town would pay half and Friends would pay half. The invoice is for$5,550. Time Capsule Catherine said Crystal Design came up with a design and the Library Trustees are.Dicing for a donation of some type of sculpture. Catherine said the Trustees would purchase the time capsule and PCC would pay for the cabinet. Estimate: $1,050 for the cabinet. Iry Goldberg said he didn't remember eget agreeing to pay for the cabinet, so Catherine will check the minutes to see where this was discussed.
