TOWN of MASHPEE <br /> CAPTIAL NEEDS—HVAC PROJECTS <br /> TS <br /> SECTION 010 10- SUMMARY OFF WORK <br /> PART 1 -GENERAL <br /> 1.1 RELATED DOCUMENT <br /> A. Instructions to Bidders, AIA Document A201, "The General Conditions of the Contract for <br /> Construction", 200 Edition, the Supplementary General Conditions and Division 1 f <br /> General Requirements, are a part of this Section and shall be binding on the Contractor <br /> and/or Subcontractor who performs this work. <br /> 1.2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> A. The Project consists of the HVAC Upgrades at three Town Facilities as shown on <br /> Contract Documents prepared by Garcia Galuska DeSousa, Inc.- <br /> B. The Work consists of: <br /> 1. Removal of ars existing gas fired boiler- and its related appurtenances as <br /> indicated on the contract documents. Providing a new gas fired boiler with all <br /> required reconnections as indicated on the contract documents for the Police <br /> Station. <br /> . Rem of an existing indoor gas fired air handler and its related appurtenances <br /> as indicated on the contract documents located in the Germ of the Coombs <br /> School and provide a new indoor gas fired air handler and related appurtenances <br /> s indicated on the contract documents. Also required is the removal and <br /> replacement of the suppler diffusers associated with the gym distribution system. <br /> As an alternate the roof mounted gas fired air handler and its related <br /> appurtenances associated with the Library shall be removed and replaced as <br /> indicated on the contract documents. <br /> . Providing a complete and operational dir'ect•di ital control s rsterh for the Town <br /> Hall as indicated on-the contract documents. The building has a partial DDC <br /> system of the Niagra Platform DDC system of the Niagra Platform which shall be <br /> incorporated and expanded upon for a full seamless integrated system. All <br /> existing equipment shall be provided 'with ' new control valves and digital <br /> thermostats as indicated on the contract documents. <br /> 1.3 WOK SELENE <br /> A. The Work will be conducted in manner to provide the least possible interference to the <br /> - activities of the building. The building will remain occupied during the contract work. <br /> 1.4 CONTRACTORUSE of PREMISES <br /> A. • General: Limit use of the premises to construction activities only in areas indicated on the <br /> Contract Drawin s, allow for owner occupancy and use by the public. <br /> Confine operations to areas within Contract limits indicated.
