TOWN F MASH PEE <br /> APTIAL NEEDS—HVAC PROJECTS <br /> . Confine the parking of workmen's and construction vehicles, and the storage of <br /> construction materials to the staging area. <br /> . Keep driveways and entrances serving the premises clear and available to the <br /> Owner and the Owner's employees at all tires. Do not use these areas for <br /> parking or storage of materials. Schedule deliveries .to before and after school <br /> hours and minimize space and time requirements for storage of materials and <br /> equipment an site. <br /> E. Use of the Existing Building: Maintain the existing building in'a weathertight condition <br /> throughout the construction period. Repair damage caused by.construction operations. <br /> Take all precautions necessary to protect the building and its occupants during the <br /> construction period. <br /> 1. <br /> Repair damage caused by damaged or interrupted utilities. <br /> 1.5 OWNEROCCUPANCY <br /> A. Full Owner Occupancy: The Owner will occupy the site and existing building during the <br /> entire construction period. Cooperate with the Owner during construction operations t <br /> minimize conflicts and maintain a fuller operational facility. Perforin the Work so as not to <br /> interfere with the Owners operations. <br /> 1. Coordinate all Work with the Engineer and owner's Representatives to insure <br /> that operational and environmental conditions, satisfactory to the Owner and <br /> Engineer, are maintained during all pluses of Construction. Schedule and <br /> coordinate the Work to minimize the shat down of any portions of the building or <br /> Systems at any specific time. <br /> . obtain prior approval for the shat down of any portions of the building or systems <br /> at tunes designated by the Owner. <br /> . Ensure safe, barrier-free access to, safe, barrier-free egress from,ands security of <br /> existing areas and equipment by the staff, students, and public. <br /> a. The safety of the pupils and teachers requires that nothing shall be done, <br /> in any way, to block the passageways in or about the exits themselves. <br /> Neither shall there be any unauthorized interference with the free and <br /> unobstructed use of hallways, stairways, toilets and rooms. <br /> . Schedule and coordinate the Work so as not to disrupt access to the building. <br /> Obtain prior approval from the local Building Official and Fire Department, and <br /> Town before commencement of work that may disrupt'safe,-barrier-free access <br /> to the building by the staff and public. <br /> a. It is the intent that work shall start on May 9, 2011. The work shall <br /> s <br /> conclude n.o later than S ptember 1, 2011. Work for the KC Coombs <br /> School shall be delayed until July 1, 2011 and complete no later than <br /> September 1, 2011 to avoid disruption of classes.
