w TOWN of I IA HPEE REQUEST FOR UALIFICATION ENGINEERING/DESIGN SERVICES The Town of Mashpee (hereinafter referred to as the Town) is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the completion of engineering and design services, including preparation of bid documents,for specific improv meats to the Mash pa Archives. The fee for the project including all o pe nses required for its completion shall be negotiated, but shall not exceed $20,000. Specifications may be obtained beginning September 21,2011, at tine office of the Town Manager, Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road, Mashpee, MA 02649, Monday through Friday, between the f hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., by calling(508) 539-1400, ext. 510 or by e-mail.via bos2ci.r a,shl ee.ma.us . Questions relative to this Request for Qualifications should be directed in writing to Ms. atherine Laurent, Director of Public Works,via email at d w mash eer a. ori or fax at 508-539-3894.A non-mandatory information session shall be held'on Wednesday,September 2 , 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Mashpee Town Hall. For those interested, a brief tour of the Archives building shall immediately follow. signed original and 4 copies of the prop al must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked "Engineering and Designer Services for Mashpee Archives—Do Not peri" on the front. Proposals will be received until Wed , October 5-at 2:00 p.m., at which time all-proposals will be opened publicly. Late proposals will not be considered and faked proposals will not be accepted. Delivery of proposals will be at the expense of the proposer. Any and all damages that may occur due to packaging, shippingor timely arrival will be the sole responsibility of the proposer. � The Town of Mashpee reserves the right to select the firm or individuaI it feels is nnost qualified based on the information submitted, to waive any informality, and to choose a firm or individual determined to be able to per-form in the best interest of the Town.The Town of Mashpee encourages women and minority-owned businesses to submit proposals. All proposals will be taken under consideration for award of contract at a later date.
