MEETING TO ORDER: 5:55 p.m. <br /> Chairman Dale McKay opened the meeting at 5:55 p.m. <br /> No comment from the public <br /> PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: <br /> Minutes: Approve March 22, 2018 Minutes <br /> Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to approve the March 22, 2018 Minutes,seconded by Mr. Anderson, <br /> Vote 3-0-1 with Mr. O'Neill abstaining <br /> UPDATE: Herring Runs <br /> The Agent gave an update on the herring runs. He noted the herring are starting to come up all <br /> three rivers and the river with the biggest challenge is the Santuit River. He noted the water table <br /> is high everywhere which makes it difficult for the herring to get through. They have made some <br /> adjustments to the fish ladders. He said we are seeing a lot of scouts but in the next couple of weeks <br /> more of the herring will be coming through. <br /> UPDATE: Upper Quashnet Restoration Funding (AFCEC) <br /> The Agent gave an update on the Upper Quashnet Restoration Funding. He said he heard from the <br /> Air Force and they are still working on the funding and was told they will continue negotiating funding <br /> within the next few weeks. <br />
