r Town of Mahpee Recycling Committee Minutes of Meeting September '7, 1999 The Town of Mashpee Recycling Committee Meeting was called to order in the Board of Health Office, Mashpee Torn Hall, 1 Great Neck Road worth, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 1999 . Committee Members present : James Chisholm; Stephanie LTones; David Leveille; Veronica Mayer; and Glen Santos. Veronica Mayer~ declared a quorum to be present and called the Meeting to order. As the first order of business, she -addressed the matter of nominations for Committee Officers. TominAt i"on of off. cers Upon Motion duly rade by David Leveille and seconded by Stephanie forges, it was unani usly voted to open. n minations for the position of Chairman. MOTION: James Chisholm made a Motion to nominate Glen Santos as Chairman; which Motion was duly seconded by Stephanie Jones. Upon the close of nominations for Chairman, it was unanimously voted to endorse Glen Santos. Glen Santos accepted said nomination and vote to act as Cha i'r ►an of the Town of Mashpee Recycling Committee' . MOTION: James Chisholm made a Motion to nominate Veronica Mayer as Clerk; which Motion was duly seconded by Glen Santos . Upon the close of nominations for Clerk! it was unanimously voted to endorse veronica Mayer. Veronica Mayer acceptd said nomination and vote to act as Clerk of the Town of Mashpee Recycling Committee. Review of 2000 Munkipal Recycling Data Sheet Veronica Mayer informed the Connittee the figures for scrap metal/tin cans had not been included a she is expecting the figures on September 8th for submission of application by September 15th. There was some discussion regarding the figures presented for estimated popul tion year round and seasonal) , with David Leville stating the population figure for Mashpee varies from 9, 500 t 12, 600 . David Leveille informed Committee Members of a recent vote made by the Board of Selectmen regarding a population figure for
