Town of Mashpee <br /> Recycling o mittee <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> October 5, 1999 <br /> The Town of Maspee Recycling Committee Meeting was called <br /> to order in the Board of Health Office, Mashpee Town Hall, 1 <br /> Great Neck Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 6 : 30 p.m. on <br /> Tuesday, October~ 5, 1999 . David Leveille presided over the <br /> Meeting in Mr. Santos , absence; The Clerk opened the Meeting. <br /> Committee members present: James Chisholm; Stephanie Jones; <br /> Davi. Leveille; and veronica Mayer, Clerk. <br /> Absent: Glen Santos, Chairman. <br /> Also present: Phil Goddard, Southeast District MIP <br /> Coordinator. <br /> Veronica Mayer declared a quorum to be present and called <br /> the Meeting to order, noting for the record that the Chairman, <br /> Glen Santos was not present due to illness. <br /> She then introduced Phil Goddard, MRIP Coordinator Southeast <br /> District, who would be informing the Committee of criteria <br /> required for Phase I of the MRIP Program. <br /> Mr. Goddard provided some background information by stating <br /> he had been Consultant for the Town of Bourne Landfill; Member, <br /> Bourne Recycling Committee; Employee of Searass. <br /> Review of Handout Materials <br /> 1r. Goddard informed the Committee that the MRIP contracts <br /> required for the filing' f the grant are currently available. <br /> The scope of services must be signed in duplicate. The payment <br /> voucher which is to be signed by Mr. Goddard will expedite the <br /> payment process. Mr. Goddard established a duly authorized <br /> representative of the Town unpowered to sign contracts would be <br /> eligible for signing carious required documents (David Leveille, <br /> as Selectman and after an authorized Note by the Board of <br /> Selectmen would be appropriate . <br /> Mr. Goddard made reference to Bonin Payments, $20 . 00 per <br /> ton, incentive for consideration, which would run phase to phase, <br /> increase. <br /> Mr. Goddard stated he would investigate further the $100 . 00 <br /> disbursement refund (made electronically) issued to the Town, <br /> which should be deposited into the Recycling Account . <br /> Mr. Goddard stated most of the minims requirements for the <br /> current year have been met, noting forms for the Department <br />
