10 <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> Recycling Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> April 4, 2000 <br /> The Town of Ma hpee Recycling Committee Meeting was called <br /> to order in the Board of Health Office, tea.shpee Town Hall, l <br /> Great Neck Road forth, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 6:35 p.m. on <br /> Tuesday, April 4. 2000 . The Chairman, Glenn Santos, presided. <br /> Committee members present : Stephanie Jones; Glenn Santos, <br /> Chairman; David Leve : 3 7 p.m. and Veronica warden, Clerk. <br /> Absent: James Chisholm. <br /> the Chairman declared a quorum to be present and called the <br /> Meeting to order. He announced the meeting was being taped <br /> solely for transcription purposes. As the first order of <br /> business he addressed the issue of Minutes. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> MOTION: Stephanie Jones made a motion to approve the <br /> minutes of larch 7, 2000, contingent upon amendments to the first <br /> and second pages to read, " . . .draft press release. . . " on the <br /> f first page; and . . .press release. . . on page -2- ; which lotion <br /> was seconded by Veronia warden and so voted unanimously. <br /> D.E. P. ecarcl ing "Coffee Talk" � <br /> Veronica Warden reported this function is scheduled for <br /> Tuesday, June 6. 2000, and that anyone interested in attending <br /> is free to do so. She stated this is a busy time of the year <br /> for her, and that she is unsure if she will be able to attend. <br /> She also advised that further details will be forthcoming. <br /> Recycling Signage <br /> References were being made to two 2 new signs "No rush1l ; <br /> and "No Corrugated Cardboard" . There was some discussion as to <br /> where said signs are to be located at the transfer station. <br /> Stephanie Jones inquired as to the amount of corrugated <br /> cardboard being deposited, to which Veronica warden stated the <br /> capacity to be one l ton. <br /> At this point David Leveille asked whether or not it is ' <br /> prudent to purchase a compactor for corrugated cardboard. He <br /> also suggested consideration be given to the pur has'e of a <br /> bailer rather than a compactor. <br /> The Chairman quoted an estimated price of $32, 000 .,,00 to <br /> i <br />
