i <br /> TOWN OF MASHPEE Town of Mashpee <br /> TOV,N CI-ERK Recycling Committee <br /> minutes of meeting <br /> 00 AUG - I PM 34- 39 <br /> May 9, 20 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Recycling Committee Meeting was called <br /> to order in the Board of Health Office, 1► a shpee Town Hall, 16 <br /> Great Neck Road forth, 1 ashpee, Massachusett's at 6:33 p.m. on <br /> Tuesday, May 9, 2000 . The Chairman, Glenn Santos, presided. <br /> Committee Members present: James Chisholm; Stephanie Jones; <br /> Glean Santos, Chairman; and Veronica warden, Clerk. <br /> Absent: David Leeille. <br /> The Chairman declared a quorum to be present and called the <br /> Meeting to order. He announced the Meeting was being taped <br /> solely for transcription purposes. Ag the first order of <br /> business he -addressed the issue of minutes. <br /> Approval ral f Minutes <br /> ROTI N: Veronica Warden made a Motion to approve the <br /> Minutes of the April 4, 2000 Meeting as submitted; which Motion <br /> was seconded by Stephanie Jones and so voted dnanimously. <br /> Committee Reorganization <br /> There was some discussion as to whether or not there is a <br /> conflict of interest since Glenn Santos has been elected to the <br /> Board of Health. <br /> Veronica warden clarified that she is the Board of Health <br /> representative on the Recycling Committee and that it is h.e <br /> respon ibil ity to present the Con ittee' s recommendations to the <br /> Board. <br /> The Committee decided to bring this concern before the Board <br /> of Health at thein next meeting as New Business. <br /> The matter of Reorganization was postponed to the next <br /> scheduled meeting. <br /> Request forVolunteers' <br /> Veronica warden reported that she has been in contact with <br /> aril. n Lopes, Household Hazardous waste Day, who requested <br /> volunteers for September 16th, <br /> Veronica warden explained duties would include directing <br /> traffic, verifying proof of residency, etc. she and James <br /> Chisholm volunteered to attend. <br />
