i TOWN OF MASHPEE Town of Mashpee TOV,N CI-ERK Recycling Committee minutes of meeting 00 AUG - I PM 34- 39 May 9, 20 The Town of Mashpee Recycling Committee Meeting was called to order in the Board of Health Office, 1► a shpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road forth, 1 ashpee, Massachusett's at 6:33 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2000 . The Chairman, Glenn Santos, presided. Committee Members present: James Chisholm; Stephanie Jones; Glean Santos, Chairman; and Veronica warden, Clerk. Absent: David Leeille. The Chairman declared a quorum to be present and called the Meeting to order. He announced the Meeting was being taped solely for transcription purposes. Ag the first order of business he -addressed the issue of minutes. Approval ral f Minutes ROTI N: Veronica Warden made a Motion to approve the Minutes of the April 4, 2000 Meeting as submitted; which Motion was seconded by Stephanie Jones and so voted dnanimously. Committee Reorganization There was some discussion as to whether or not there is a conflict of interest since Glenn Santos has been elected to the Board of Health. Veronica warden clarified that she is the Board of Health representative on the Recycling Committee and that it is h.e respon ibil ity to present the Con ittee' s recommendations to the Board. The Committee decided to bring this concern before the Board of Health at thein next meeting as New Business. The matter of Reorganization was postponed to the next scheduled meeting. Request forVolunteers' Veronica warden reported that she has been in contact with aril. n Lopes, Household Hazardous waste Day, who requested volunteers for September 16th, Veronica warden explained duties would include directing traffic, verifying proof of residency, etc. she and James Chisholm volunteered to attend.
