David Leveille commented on the calculation of percentages. <br /> The Cape Cod Commission reported Mashpee recycling at 13%; DBP <br /> is reporting . <br /> The Chairman inquired as to whether or not Town-wide tonnage <br /> information could be prodded and filed towards maximizing the <br /> rating. Veronica warden stated all figures have been included <br /> and submitted. <br /> New Business <br /> Stephanie Jones asked if it would be possible to air <br /> occasional educational videos on the cable t.v. station. <br /> Veronica Warden stated she has had a number of recycling <br /> videos shown on cable. The Chairman suggested the station be <br /> notified and asked that they be repeated. <br /> Stephanie Jones was referring to 1 - 0 minute videos she <br /> acquired while attending the Recycling Conference in Lakeville. <br /> She agreed to provide them to media one, at the request of the <br /> ashpee Recycling Committee. She also suggested the Pay-As-You- <br /> Throw video be included. <br /> David. Leveille commented the Pay-As-You-Throw information <br /> might be a little premature and asked the Committee to reconsider <br /> airing at this time. <br /> Old Business <br /> Used-oil Tank Delivery <br /> Veronica warden informed the Committee that the used-oil <br /> tank has been received, installed, and is in working order. She <br /> suggested sending the Plumbing Inspector a Memo thanking him for <br /> his cooperation. <br /> There was some discussion regarding eligibility for the <br /> municipal Recycling Grant Program. <br /> Stephanie Jones reported on her attendance at the Lakeville <br /> Conference-Pay As You Throw. Participating Towns are favorably <br /> commenting on trash reduction and financial benefits as a result. <br /> She suggested contract renewals be examined at the appropriate <br /> time. There was some discussion regarding future use of the <br /> Transfer station. <br /> It <br /> Di <br /> Compactor Specifications <br /> David Leveille reported he is attempting to compile the data <br /> for presentation/review of the Committee, Board of Health, and, <br /> Town Administrator. He is also working on a draft of the RFP. � <br /> - - <br />
