Stephanie Jones volunteered to inquire about the <br /> Town of Falmouth Recycling Program. <br /> Secondly, Jennifer suggested the plastics be recycled, <br /> specifically the bottles generated from the wery Fine,, machine. <br /> Veronica Warden suggested the group consider recycling <br /> paper products . She suggested an emptor box be made available <br /> in each classroom for the purpose of collecting paper for <br /> recycling. The students would be responsible for collecting <br /> and depositing the discarded paper into an appropriate container <br /> at the close of each school day. <br /> Veronica 'harden Volunteered to contact BPI to inquire if <br /> they would be willing to provide sic totes. <br /> David LeVeille suggested Jennifer prepare a letter to Nor. <br /> Brown indicating she, in conjunction with the Recycling <br /> Committee, would like to initiate a Recycling Program at the High <br /> School, requesting his approval/support and also requesting Nor. <br /> Cook' s assistance. He suggested said letter be co-signed b <br /> Jennifer and Mr. Santos, Chairman of the Recycling Committee, <br /> with a copy to 1r. Hopinstead. <br /> The Chairman commended Jennifer for her interest and <br /> enthusiasm for this important program; he suggested she make <br /> another attempt to involve more of the student body. David <br /> Leei.l .e suggested using posters to help stimulate interest in <br /> the project. <br /> Jennifer' s presentation was concluded at this point of the <br /> meeting. ) <br /> There was some discussion regardixg .the condition of the <br /> newspaper/cardboard containers being at capacity and more timely <br /> pick-ups by the Mauling company. David LeVeilie suggested the <br /> Committee consider investing in an additional cardboard <br /> container; Veronica Warden has already suggested an automatic <br /> pick-up every Monday.
