f <br /> January 2 , 1994 <br /> Page Two <br /> Coombs School School Council Members - Maryanne MacDonald, Ginny <br /> ufnagel, Terry Cook, Maureen Paxton and teacher Mary Ryder were <br /> attendance. <br /> The meeting between the School Committee at the Coombs School. <br /> School Council commenced at 1:35 p.m. <br /> Coombs School. Principal Nick Feldman presented the FY95 budget to <br /> the Committee. Included in the presentation was 2 Grade 1 <br /> teachers, I Grade 3 teacher, and 4 teacher assistants to cove- the <br /> increased administrative duties for teachers. <br /> After the presentation, Mrs. Dun,ivan once again - stated that the <br /> Finance Committee has not given a "bottom line figure" to . the <br /> school and therefore further discussion will take dace on <br /> Saturday, February 1.9 . � <br /> Dr, DeMoura expects approximately 127 additional student next year <br /> and he proposed a distribution of resources according to the <br /> October 1 enrollment, on a per pupil basis, any increase in the <br /> school budget between the Middle School and the Coombs School. <br /> Also, the regular transportation contract is out for bid for the <br /> next three years and Coombs School will require one additional bus. <br /> The joint meeting between the School Committee and the Coombs <br /> School School Council adjourned at 2:09 p.me <br /> Due to personal circumstances, Mrs. Dunivan asked the remaining <br /> Committee members if she could be replaced on the Negotiations <br /> Team. After some discussion, Dr. Petti volunteered to replace Mrs. <br /> Dunivan on this sub-committee. <br /> O <br /> n a motion by Gibbs and seconded by r.
