C MASHPEE PUBLIC SCHOOLS REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 7f 1994 Minutes Attendees: School Committee - Chair Maryanne Gibbs, Dr. Elizabeth Petti, David Consalvi, and Stephen Paxton. Janice dills was absent this evening. Administration - Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lincoln A. DeMoura, Coombs School Principal Nick Feldman and Middle School. Principal Robert ippo. I . The regular meeting of the Mashpee School Committee was Call Meeting called to order by Chair Maryanne Gibbs at p.m. in to Order Middle School Library. I . Lotion made by Pr. Petti, seconded by Mr. Consalvi, to Approval of approve the minutes of the special Meeting of November 9, Minutes 19940 VOTE: Unanimous Motion made by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Mr. Paxton, to approve the minutes of the special meeting of November 14 , 1994. VOTE: Unanimous I Diane Mulvey wanted to clarify the kindergarten enrollment Public Forum cutoff date. Dr. DeMoura explained that the date will be proposed tonight as August 31 to be effective September, 1996. She was also concerned about the transition plan and the number of students at the diddle School. Mrs. Mulvey suggested waiting before implementing this plan. Kathy Lynch reported on the reorganization committee meeting. She thought it was a positive meeting but .is concerned with the cost factors and asked the School Committee to consider those. On an unrelated matter, Mrs. Lynch thanked Mr. Feldman for the opportunity for the Coombs students to see -the "Nutcracker" recently.
