MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE - REGULAR UL MEETING DECEMBER 71 1994 PAGE 2 <br /> 4 .2.2 Brownie Troop #1903 Coombg School classroom - <br /> Monday afternoons beginning November 21, 1994-June, 1995 <br /> 4 .2 .3 "125th Mashpee Theatrical Event Committee" -- Coombs <br /> school facilities - January 9, 11, 23, 25, 30, February 1, <br /> , 81 13, 15, 2 , 22, 2 , Larch 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 2 , 22; 24 , <br /> 25, 2 , 1995. <br /> 4 *2.4 Installation Restoration Program - Wednesday, <br /> December 7 - Middle School Cafetorium - public meeting for <br /> shuinet/John's Pond Task Force <br /> 4.2 .5 Mashpee Youth Travel Soccer Club - Thursday, December <br /> 1, 1994 - Middle School Library <br /> At this point, Dr, DeMoura asked the Committee's permission <br /> to take the following agenda items out of order clue to <br /> inclement weather and the participants were present in the <br /> audience. <br /> 7 . 1 Project Excellence - Dr. Paula Ides - Early Childhood <br /> Consultant through Project Excellence, Dr. Rhodes, discus sed <br /> parent questionnaire regarding kindergarten accreditation. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Mr. Paxton, to send <br /> home the parent gpestionnaire. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 7 .4 Request to Delegate the Administration of Prescription Dru�s <br /> - Dr. DeM ura explained how the need to administer <br /> prescription drugs becomes more acute as the enrollments <br /> continue to increase. The Mashpee School system currently <br /> has one registered nurse who is unable to administer all <br /> drugs. Therefore, the choices are limited. one is to <br /> employ another registered nurse or apply to the Department <br /> of Health for permission to delegate this responsibility. <br /> School Nurse Fruth Monaghan addressed the Committee with the � <br /> possibility of delegating this responsibility to the health <br /> assistant at the Coombs School. Mr. Consalvi expressed his <br /> concerns regarding the possibility of admini tering an <br /> incorrect drug and the loss of licensure. Thus, this issue <br /> was was taken under advisement and tabled for the time <br /> being. <br /> 6*3 MEAP Testing - Patricia Parolski presented the Committee <br /> with the results of the April, 1994 Massachusetts <br /> Educational Assessment Program, She reported that all Grade <br /> test scores, with the exception of social studies, were <br /> below the state average and lower than last year's scores. <br /> Ms. Gibbs expressed her concern that the scores were getting i <br /> progressively lower and asked what could be clone to remedy <br />
