PERSONNEL BOARD PACE <br /> MINUTES OF MARCH 1 , 1994 <br /> Board . Bob said that he will tell the managers to give full co- <br /> operation to the Board and that he would announce it at the depart-meat <br /> head meeting scheduled for Wednesday. <br /> Discussion centered around articles being submitted for petition. Bob <br /> hritenour said that they should be ready if that happens and get up <br /> and state at a Town Meeting that it should not be voted because it did <br /> not follow the process <br /> Relative to the part-time position in the TownClerk ' s office, Bob told <br /> that Board that the Clerk position was reduced by Town Meeting from <br /> twenty to nineteen hours . It was a mistake . The article was submitted <br /> by petition and it did not go through the review. Another position was <br /> created which the Board of Selectmen have the right to fund and adver- <br /> tise . <br /> dorer-ti e . Bob said this bolls down to executive order. Discussion <br /> centered around reversing the action of Town Meeting relative to the <br /> Clerk position, Bob Whritenour said that the Board could recommend an <br /> article to increase the hours of the part -time Clerk back to twenty <br /> hours . <br /> After some additional discussion, the Board v oted . to send a memo <br /> i <br /> recommending that an article be placed on the warrant to increase the <br /> position back to twenty hours ., <br /> The Board also requested that Dave Bailey, Director of Assessing,� and <br /> Helene DeFoe, Librarian, and Toni Robertson, Chairman of the Library <br /> Trustees, be invited to meet with them at their next me eting . <br /> The Board ' s next regularly scheduled meeting is March 21 .
