PERSONNEL BOARD MEETING <br /> MINUTES OF AUGUST 23, 1994 <br /> Joe commented that he wanted to have Selectmen come in and meet with then <br /> on occassion. Bob whritenour suggested calling them on the telephone and <br /> having theme come in. <br /> Training for Managers <br /> Bob whritenour told the Personnel Board that he wants to establish a <br /> steering committee comprised of Department Heads and have therm take the <br /> lead on training for managers . He said that he would like to have Joe <br /> Dellagale or tembers from the Personnel Board participating on the <br /> steering committee , He said that he has the monies for training and that <br /> he wants to get it -going , Bob commented that Total Quality Management <br /> involves taking a look at the way we do our job . <br /> Joe asked if Bob was planning to expand the training to other employees <br /> down the road . Bob replied "Yes, Total Quality Management involves people <br /> at all levels of the organization".. <br /> P.A. P. Review <br /> The Board spent the rest of the meeting continuing it ' review of the <br /> P.A .P. starting with Page - , mp1gyment through Page 11 , Promotions <br /> 'transfers .
