Employees could elect to' take time off <br /> instead of being paid . <br /> Discussion centered around the update of the P.A. P. Joe Dellagala <br /> explained that the recommended changes are submitted to the Selectmen to <br /> adopt . The Personnel Board only recommends and are just advisors to the <br /> Selectmen. Finance agreed to put their concerns in writing about the <br /> compensatory time issue and sent it to the Personnel Board , <br /> Relative to the Finance Committee ' request . for accrued sick and <br /> vacation time, chairman Goggin indicated that the concerR. is- the town ' s <br /> liability of time on the books . Dan Goggin mentioned as an example, the <br /> Police Chief settled -- who is being paid' $ 1.3, 000 . <br /> With regard to the Library Assistant position upgrade request, Denise <br /> Sullivan commented that she had a concern about the fact that it is a <br /> pant-thine position, and that she felt it did not belong on the same <br /> grade level as an Assistant Town Account . <br /> ■ <br /> Denise Sullivan indicated that she also was concerned about the <br /> Board Secretary Account and that a study should be made on the South <br /> Cape Beach Committee .
