PERSONNEL BOARD MINUTES <br /> MEETING OF NOVEMBER 21 , 1994 FADE <br /> At this point in the meeting, the Board reviewed the resume and <br /> credentials of Gail Wilson-Greene . The Board asked Gail what her <br /> company ' s track record has been for municipalities . Gall replied that <br /> she has eight municipalities pending for E ' 96 . <br /> Gall told the Board that they will provide training for the managers <br /> and reports on a monthly and annual basis . <br /> Bob Sherman - Conservation Aert <br /> Bob Sherman met with the Personnel Board regarding readvertising the <br /> part-time position of Assistant Conservation Agent , The Board told Bob <br /> Sherman that they would - not recommend readvert i s i ng the position <br /> because they feel there are qualified candidates from the applicants <br /> interviewed , The Board stated that they were prepared to recommend <br /> Carolyn Banks for the position. Joe Dellagala asked that a letter b <br /> sent to the Conservation Commission stating that the Personnel Board <br /> feels that we should pick one of the qualified people and that they <br /> recommend Carolyn Banks , <br /> Perry Ellis - Harbormaster <br /> The <br /> arbormaste - <br /> The Board met with- Perry Ellis , who put in a letter of interest to <br /> serve on the- Personnel Board . Joe Dellagala explained that he feels <br /> there is a conflict of interest in having ferry serge as a member to <br /> the Board because he is an employee of the town . For instance, the <br /> Board is reviewing policies, etc . <br /> Berry explained that he was . in't'erested in serving on the Board because <br /> he was good with peopl-e and that he had supervisory experience . In <br /> addition to this he owns a home in Mashpee and is a taxpayer, has <br /> children in school and wants to be part of Mashpee as it grows and <br /> changes . He ba'Lsica.11y. feels he could be an asset . <br /> Joe explained that the Board was a recommending Beard to the Selectmen <br /> and that he would follow up with discussing Ferry ' s interest with Sel . <br /> Mills ( Personnel liaison ) and Ebb Whritenour. <br /> Christmas Eve Holida. <br /> In reviewing the 'down ' s holiday policy under the P. A. P . and the <br /> Clerical Union contract, the Board noted that the Clerical ,Contract <br /> gave employees time off for the Christmas Eve holiday if it falls on a <br /> weekend and not for the F . . P . employees . For purposes of consistency <br /> for all employees . the Board unanimously tern to recommend that all <br /> personnel be treated equally, and, therefore, recommended that P. A. P. <br /> employees receive the Christmas Eire holiday off too . <br /> p. tc er Justification <br /> The Beron.nel Board received a breakdown of the justification for a <br /> full-time dispatcher position from Sgt . Umina which they requested , <br /> The .information received will be taken under advisement . <br />
