PERSONNEL BOARD MINUTES MEETING OF NOVEMBER 21 , 1994 FADE At this point in the meeting, the Board reviewed the resume and credentials of Gail Wilson-Greene . The Board asked Gail what her company ' s track record has been for municipalities . Gall replied that she has eight municipalities pending for E ' 96 . Gall told the Board that they will provide training for the managers and reports on a monthly and annual basis . Bob Sherman - Conservation Aert Bob Sherman met with the Personnel Board regarding readvertising the part-time position of Assistant Conservation Agent , The Board told Bob Sherman that they would - not recommend readvert i s i ng the position because they feel there are qualified candidates from the applicants interviewed , The Board stated that they were prepared to recommend Carolyn Banks for the position. Joe Dellagala asked that a letter b sent to the Conservation Commission stating that the Personnel Board feels that we should pick one of the qualified people and that they recommend Carolyn Banks , Perry Ellis - Harbormaster The arbormaste - The Board met with- Perry Ellis , who put in a letter of interest to serve on the- Personnel Board . Joe Dellagala explained that he feels there is a conflict of interest in having ferry serge as a member to the Board because he is an employee of the town . For instance, the Board is reviewing policies, etc . Berry explained that he was . in't'erested in serving on the Board because he was good with peopl-e and that he had supervisory experience . In addition to this he owns a home in Mashpee and is a taxpayer, has children in school and wants to be part of Mashpee as it grows and changes . He ba'Lsica.11y. feels he could be an asset . Joe explained that the Board was a recommending Beard to the Selectmen and that he would follow up with discussing Ferry ' s interest with Sel . Mills ( Personnel liaison ) and Ebb Whritenour. Christmas Eve Holida. In reviewing the 'down ' s holiday policy under the P. A. P . and the Clerical Union contract, the Board noted that the Clerical ,Contract gave employees time off for the Christmas Eve holiday if it falls on a weekend and not for the F . . P . employees . For purposes of consistency for all employees . the Board unanimously tern to recommend that all personnel be treated equally, and, therefore, recommended that P. A. P. employees receive the Christmas Eire holiday off too . p. tc er Justification The Beron.nel Board received a breakdown of the justification for a full-time dispatcher position from Sgt . Umina which they requested , The .information received will be taken under advisement .
