9 <br /> Main Street Village Proposal, Phase n, Charles Tuttle-There as confirmation that a letter <br /> of support had been sent from the Affordable Housing Committee. It was believed that they would be <br /> moving forward with their plans, as they worked on addressing unresolved issues, and that ars <br /> application had been submitted. <br /> 243 <br /> ofiitRoad � oral-The Chair had been in contact with Ir, gena who indicated that he <br /> had previously discussed a 48-unit project for the parcel, but Torn Fudal a felt that it would not be a fit <br /> for the neighborhood. As a result, Mr, Pena developed the eight rental unit plan. Mr, Pena indicated <br /> that he was awaiting his letter of support, but the Chair reminded him that the Committee was awaiting <br /> additional information regarding the proforma, which he agreed to send. The item will remain on the <br /> agenda. <br /> Masliee orr mons Chapter ro -ect-Mr. Abbott stated that Mashpee Commons would <br /> be constructing an additional building. It was noted that Mashp ec had already received a credit for 50 <br /> units. There was discussion whether the addition of the building may increase the number of <br /> affordable units at Mashpee Commons to seven. The Chair stated that credit would be given for all <br /> units under a 4 OB pr 'ect. However, if the 40B prod ect was given up, the only uni is that woul d rens ai n <br /> 1 <br /> on the subsidized housing index, would be the ones that were built and occupied. <br /> Public forums would be held March 6, March 13 March 27 and April 3 with different topics of <br /> discussion at each, forum. Chairman Isbitz will be speaking at the March 6 event. IIs. Store <br /> recommended inviting Mashpee Commons to present to the Affordable Housing Committee after the <br /> completion of their forums and the Chair agreed, <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> -neat Neighborhoods Statewide Zoning DeformCampaign-The Chair noted that there was <br /> a statewide movement to make changes to zoning that would allow greater flexibility, such as with <br /> form zoning. Some affordable housing projects have become more expensive due to such zoning <br /> restraints as setbacks and/or height restrictions. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> a o isir A �rocae Training-The Chair provided the dates for six workshops offered b <br /> a collaborative effort between the Dousing Assistance Corporation and Community Development <br /> Partnership. Sessions will be held February 1 , 20 and 7 in flyan's and wellfleet,February 17 in <br /> arwich} and March 3 in Falmouth. The Chair and Mr. Abbott, along with Selectman Cotton, had <br /> attended previously. These particular sessions would be geared not toward municipalities, but for <br /> people who would benefit from the housing or businesses seeking housing resources. <br /> NMP's Hotising Institute-Scheduled for June 6 & 7 in Devens,MA. The Chair indicated that <br /> sessions represented the best practices and latest thinking in affordable housing statewide. <br /> Mash ee Village-Mr.r. The project had been planned for 52 units. In order to allow Mashp ee to count the <br /> housing towards its affordable stock, it had previously been determined that additional application was <br /> 2 <br />
