Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 23, 2018 <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Public Hearing: Change of Manager —New Officer/Director, New Scabury Resources Management, Inc. <br /> dba The Lure, 236 Shore Drive, Mashpee, MA <br /> The Board of Selectmen opened the Public Hearing on the Change of Manager---New Officer/Director, <br /> New Seabury Resources Management, Inc. d/b/a The Lure, 236 Shore Drive, Mashpee, MA. The <br /> Hearing notice as published was read aloud into the record. <br /> Robert Mills, representing attorney was present to review the change of manager, change of beneficial <br /> interest application with the Board of Selectmen. Pedro T. Gonzalez, the proposed new manager of the <br /> subject establishment was in attendance with Christopher Card, President of New Seabury Resources <br /> Management, Inc. <br /> Being no comment or objection to the application, the Board of Selectmen acted as follows. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes Opposed, none <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the Change of Manager, Change of Beneficial <br /> Interest application of New Seabury Resources Management,Inc. d/b/a The Lure as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes Opposed, none <br /> Discussion and Approval of Annual Beach Concession Contract; Recreation Department Director MarX <br /> Bradbury: <br /> Mary K. Bradbury, Director of the Recreation Department was in attendance to recommend the award of <br /> the Beach Concession contract to Cape Cod Slush Co., d/b/a Cape Cod Slush & Ice Cream Co. for the <br /> 2018, 2019 and 2020 summer seasons. <br /> It was disclosed in the first year of the contract the payment is $4,000. In the second year, the payment is <br /> increased to $4,500 and in year three the contribution is $5,000. The payments are significantly higher <br /> than other proposals the Town has received. All services align with the desired product menu. <br />
