MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> MAY 9, 2018 <br /> 34 Rainbow Lane: Petitioner, David Webb requests a Written Finding under §174-17 of <br /> the Zoning Bylaws to allow for construction of an attached garage on property located in <br /> an R-3 Zoning District, Map 69 Parcel 36F, Mashpee, MA. (Owner of Record: Faith A. <br /> and Phillip Jackson). <br /> Mr. David Webb represented the application for the homeowner for their garage project. <br /> He provided a site plan that he believes will conform with the setbacks of the lot. The <br /> plan shows a number of non-conforming entities on the property and he is just looking <br /> for a determination to proceed or not proceed with this project. <br /> Mr. Webb stated that the stockade fence is owned by Willowbend that was built 23 years <br /> ago, and is 10 ft. into their own property line. There is a section of fence that is built on <br /> Mashpee property that is Lot 3 on the plot plan. The homeowner owns the fence located <br /> behind the shed, and that needs to be removed, and the chain link that runs onto the <br /> property. <br /> The Board reviewed the plot plan and noticed a lot of issues regarding the fences,the pool, <br /> and the deck. The Board determined that in order to build the garage, the owner needs to <br /> remove the shed, fences, and the pool. <br /> Mr. Blaisdell added that if the homeowners decide to move the shed and pool, the Board <br /> needs lot coverage clarification depicted on the plan. <br /> The Board suggested the applicant have a conversation with the Building Inspector <br /> regarding the issues they discussed. <br /> Mr. Bonvie made a motion to accept the applicant's request for extension of the public <br /> hearing until June 13, 2018. Mr. Blaisdell, seconded,yes,Mr. Furbush,yes,Mr. Goldstein, <br /> yes, Mr. Pittsley, yes, Mr. Gould, yes, Ms. Sangeleer, yes. All were in favor to continue <br /> the hearing until June 13, 2018, <br /> 46 Main Street: Petitioner, Attorney Jeffery Johnson requests a Written Finding under <br /> §174-17 of the Zoning Bylaws to raze and replace a pre-existing non-conforming structure <br /> on property located in an R-5 Zoning District, and Groundwater Protection Overlay <br /> District, Map 47 Parcel 25, Mashpee, MA. (Owner or Record: John F. Dee). <br /> 46 Main Street: Petitioner, Attorney Jeffery Johnson requests a Variance under §174-31 <br /> of the Zoning Bylaws to raze and replace a pre-existing non-conforming structure on <br /> property located in an R-5 Zoning District, and Groundwater Protection Overlay District, <br /> Map 47 Parcel 25, Mashpee, MA. (Owner or Record: John F. Dee). <br /> Attorney,Jeffery Johnson represented the owner of the project. Also present was the cousin <br /> of the owner, Mr. James Williams. Mr. Johnson provided the Board with a history and title <br /> of the property and a copy of the betterment plan from the Mashpee Water District that <br /> shows the abutting properties. <br /> 6 <br />
