Collins updated the Board of Selectmen regarding an incident on Mashpce- <br /> Wakeby Pond that was reported to the Harbormaster's Office on May 12, 2018. The report indicated <br /> that a swan was targeted by a boater driving at a high rate of speed. As a result of the allegation, the <br /> Chief of Police was advised to investigate the finding of facts regarding this matter. If the allegation is <br /> proved to be accurate, whoever was involved would be held accountable. This incident is deemed <br /> serious and facts when identified will be reported to the Board of Selectmen. <br /> It is hopeful the community at-large will be more vigilant, and that tournament groups would conduct <br /> increased policing to allow the Town of Mashpee to use their coverage in the most efficient manner. <br /> Future Agenda Topic: Risk Assessment <br />
