11 Board of Selectman Minutes June 4, 2018 NEW BUSINESS Discussion and Approval of the following Special Event Applications: Patrice Pimental, President of the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce was in attendance to review the following Special Event Applications with the Board of Selectmen; Lobsterfest June 22 2018 Mashpee Commons Green S ecial Event Tem q ary.Si n Permit and One-Day Liquor License; Mashpec Chamber of Commerce: The annual Lobsterfest is planned to be held on June 22, 2018. There are no anticipated changes to the event in its 4"' year. The venue will be held at the Mashpee Commons Green from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A one-day permit is requested for the sale of beer and wine and a signature liquor drink to be sold by tip certified volunteers and staff members. Included in the application is a Temporary Sign Permit for two vinyl banner signs. Approximately 150 persons will attend the annual fundraiser. Tickets are on sale now. LaTavola, August 17, 2018, Steeple Street in front of the Mashpee Public Library; Special Event, Temporary Sign Permit and One-Day Liquor License; Mashpee Chamber of Commerce: The Chamber of Commerce is also planning to hold the annual LaTavola on August 17, 2018. It is estimated that 400 persons would attend this event scheduled to be held on Steeple Street in front of the Mashpee Library. Beer and wine would be sold and served by tip certified volunteers and staff. A Temporary Sign Permit was included in the application to announce this event with two vinyl banner signs. All paperwork is in order for the Selectmen's approval. Applicable regulatory departments have made comments and stipulations are provided. Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve the Special Event Applications sponsored by the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce for the annual Lobsterfest granting a One-Day Permit for an All-Alcohol License and Temporary Sign Permit and for the annual LaTavola granting a One- Day Permit, beer and wine only and a Temporary Sign Permit as referenced. Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.
