For example, plans must be submitted to: <br /> a. Conservation Commission - for all Applications <br /> involving land within 100 feet of wetland, water body <br /> or watercourse <br /> b. Shellfish Commission, Harbormaster and Waterways - for <br /> all Applications for fixed and floating piers, <br /> wharves, docks and boardwalks <br /> C. Design Review Committee - for any commercial <br /> development <br /> d. Mashpee Water District - for any commercial <br /> development in the Groundwater Protection District. <br /> ABUTTER'S LISTS <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A, Section 11, requires <br /> that abutters and abutters to the abutters within 300 feet of <br /> the property line be notified by mail of the Public Hearing on <br /> all Applications. <br /> The Applicant is not responsible for the preparation of the <br /> Mashpee abutters list. The Assessor's office will certify the <br /> list and the Board of Appeals office will process the mailing. <br /> If abutters are located in adjoining Towns it is the <br /> responsibility of the Applicant to obtain a certified list of <br /> those abutters. <br /> A charge of $2.00 per• abutter• name will be billed to the <br /> Applicant for computer time, postage, supplies and processing <br /> costs. Applicants are advised to review their proposed plans <br /> with their immediate neighbors prior to the Public Hearing. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> A Public Hearing will be scheduled within 65 days from the <br /> date the Application was filed with the Town Clerk. The Board <br /> of Appeals normally meets on the second and fourth Wednesday <br /> of the month at 7:30 P.M. at the Mashpee Town Hall. The <br /> Applicant or his Agent should be present at the hearing. <br /> ZONING BY-LAWS <br /> All Applications must include reference to the Section of the <br /> Zoning By-laws which allows either a Special Permit or a ' <br /> Variance. <br /> The Zoning By-laws of the Town of Mashpee were renumbered in <br /> 1990. Applicants are advised to refer, to the new By-laws for <br /> reference to the proper sections. Copies of the Zoning <br /> By-laws are available for $25 in the office of the Town Clerk. <br />
