k Board of Appeals Minutes - August , 1994 3 . Members sitting : E. Govoni , . Regan, J. Friel Engineer William Madden represented the applicant and presented plans for the relocation of an existing garage , He explained that it was difficult to enter the garage without crossing on ars abutting property line . Mr . Govoni said that he understood one tree world be removed and that they would have to return to Conservation . Edward Caulfield, a#a ab utter. said the garage was built four o five years ago without a permit . He said he did not object to the relocation of the garage . Ron F'rancoeur , an abutter, asked if the garage was doing to be rotated. Mr . Madden said garage would not be rotated and noted this on plans . Mr . Friel moved to grant the Special Permit to relocate the garage . Mr . Regan seconded . All agreed. Engineer Madden said they had an order of conditions from the Conservation Commission. He said they were upgrading an existing pier. Be said float approved was 8r x 251 , Mr . Friel read a Memo from the Harbormaster stating his objections and requesting the dock length be shortened by 4 ' . Mr. Madden questioned depths 'in the area and he felt it was more important to have deeper water . Edward Caulfield, ars abutter, shored pictures of the existing dock and new construction at the end. He said his property was assessed higher because of his view and that the new structure obstructs some of this vier. Mr . Friel said the Harbormaster ' s objection was serious . Ms . Ber suggested Mr . Madden Meet with the Harbormaster and Conservation. Mr . Friel moved to take the Petition under advisement . Ms . Haer seconded, All agreed. Mr ,. Hauck asked if the house setbacks Were pant of the garage application . The Special Permit application did not include anything about the !louse and it Was not advertised.
