MA HPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING JANUARY , 1994 PAGE <br /> ve . 1 personnel <br /> Report of <br /> the Super- Resignation - Dr. DeMoura informed the Committee of the <br /> intendent resignation of Grade 2 teacher Beth. Buckley (who has been on <br /> maternity leave since September) effective immediately. <br /> As a result, Dr. DeMoura appointed Kathy Millan, who has <br /> been in that position since Mrs. Buckley's absence, until <br /> the end of the 1993-1994 school year. <br /> Substitute Teachers - Dr. DeMoura said the following <br /> individuals wished to be placed on the 1993-1994 substitute <br /> teacher listing with a per diem of $50.00: <br /> Linda Armstrong Geraldine Iaikath <br /> 20 Dixon Drive 6 Heron way <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 Mshp , MPS 02649 <br /> .2 Food Service Update - Dr. DeMoura informed the Committee <br /> that the November profit was $2,880,22 . <br /> 5 ., 3 Principals' , Report <br /> 5 .3. 1 Kenneth C. coombs School - Mr. Feldman reported on <br /> the December 16 school Council meeting saying that Hr. <br /> DeMoura presented the 1994-1995 budget to the members. <br /> Also, Grade 3 held their annual holiday concert with kudos <br /> to music teacher Janice Murphy for her great work; there <br /> will be a pancake breakfast at the end of January: the <br /> after-school programs will.. begin which include pottery, sign <br /> language, gymnastics, two computer programs, and music <br /> program; the non-competitive grade 3 Future Problem Solving <br /> program will begin next weep; and the dural Dedication will <br /> be held on January 7 . <br /> 5 .3.2 Middle School - Mrs. Phillips reported on the Grade <br /> winter concert with kudos to Michael Persio and Vicki <br /> Vieira; the basketball program began this week; there will <br /> be a Student Council-sponsored talent show for grades 4-m ; <br /> Representative Tome cahir addressed the school Council at <br /> their December meeting and Dr. DeMoura gave another <br /> presentation. on the FY95 F95budget. The next school Council <br /> meeting is set for January 12, 1994 with Mrs. Grace Davy <br /> giving a presentation on special education and vice <br /> Principal Suzanne Ericson discussing athletics while Mrs. <br /> Phillips will discuss the school budget, Mrs, Dunivan asked <br /> if the faculty members have been elected as school council <br /> representatives and was told that Friday, January 7, is the <br /> date for the reps to be announced.
