1 , i I YASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE - SPECIAL MEETING - SNE 1, 199S PAGE Donald Lees, Jr. as Custodian, Kenneth C. coombs School. ,2 Principals' Report . 2 . 1 Middle School -- Mr. T ippo asked the Co=ittee to review the Jure calendar for the various field trips scheduled. He stated that the school was very busy prepared for the last day of school and the graduation ceremonies . He also pointed out the Kindergarten awards days and stated that those ceremonies were always very special . .2 .2 Coombs School - Dr. DeMc ura stated that Mr. Feldman was unable to attend. the School Committee meeting and presented. the June calendar for the Coombs School . 0 6. 3 FY95 Budget (Monthly Review) - Dr. DeMoura presented the end of year financial projections and identified a projected remaining balance of $16, Soo at the end of the fiscal year. He asked the Committee to utilize this balance to complete the purchase of science materials for grades 7 and 8 . Committee members queried Dr. DeMoura for further explanation of the lime items, to which Dr. DeMoura responded. Motion made by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Mrs . Lynch., to utilize the projected F 93 budget balance of $16, 500 toward the purchase of science materials for grades 7 and 8 . VOTE: Unanimous 6. 4 Enrollments - Dr. DeMoura updated the Committee with the latest system-wide enrollments with Sao students at Coombs; 878 at the Middle School; 287 at Fai ouch High School; all totaling 1, 694 . There are 53 students at Cape Cod Tech. 6. 5 Food Service Update - Dr. DeMoura stated that the net profit for April was $1, 932 . 28 . 6. 6 A Study of the Impact of Education F eforra Finance - Dr. DeMoura presented to the Committee an executive summary from the . . S .S . regarding the impact of education reform finance . He stated that this was a subject that was very difficult to understand. However, he suggested the Committee members review this summary ary and stated it was very helpful .
