He stated that the school was <br /> very busy prepared for the last day of school and <br /> the graduation ceremonies . He also pointed out <br /> the Kindergarten awards days and stated that <br /> those ceremonies were always very special . <br /> .2 .2 Coombs School - Dr. DeMc ura stated that Mr. <br /> Feldman was unable to attend. the School Committee <br /> meeting and presented. the June calendar for the <br /> Coombs School . 0 <br /> 6. 3 FY95 Budget (Monthly Review) - Dr. DeMoura presented the <br /> end of year financial projections and identified a <br /> projected remaining balance of $16, Soo at the end of the <br /> fiscal year. He asked the Committee to utilize this <br /> balance to complete the purchase of science materials <br /> for grades 7 and 8 . Committee members queried Dr. <br /> DeMoura for further explanation of the lime items, to <br /> which Dr. DeMoura responded. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Mrs . Lynch., to <br /> utilize the projected F 93 budget balance of $16, 500 toward <br /> the purchase of science materials for grades 7 and 8 . <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 6. 4 Enrollments - Dr. DeMoura updated the Committee with the <br /> latest system-wide enrollments with Sao students at <br /> Coombs; 878 at the Middle School; 287 at Fai ouch High <br /> School; all totaling 1, 694 . There are 53 students at <br /> Cape Cod Tech. <br /> 6. 5 Food Service Update - Dr. DeMoura stated that the net <br /> profit for April was $1, 932 . 28 . <br /> 6. 6 A Study of the Impact of Education F eforra Finance - Dr. <br /> DeMoura presented to the Committee an executive summary <br /> from the . . S .S . regarding the impact of education <br /> reform finance . He stated that this was a subject that <br /> was very difficult to understand. However, he suggested <br /> the Committee members review this summary ary and stated it <br /> was very helpful . <br />
