B & H Cassette recorder Model 31 , <br /> Serial #68610400 <br /> 1 ea. Centennial Cassette Recorder Model - 6A, <br /> no serial number <br /> Motion made by Ms . Lynch, seconded by Ms . Gibbs, to deem the <br /> above equipment as surplus . <br /> VOTE : Unanimous <br /> .2 Reorganization of Central Administration - Dr. DeMoura <br /> presented a proposal for a policy change which would <br /> combine the Director of Instruction and Director of SPED <br /> positions into a new position of Assistant <br /> Superintendent, which would be a management position. <br /> Dr. DeMoura outlined the advantages to this proposal . <br /> He proposed this policy change to go into effect in <br /> September 1996. A lengthy discussion was held with the <br /> Committee determining that they required more time to <br /> study this proposal . Mrs . Mills suggested discussing <br /> this at the July 26, 1995, School Committee meeting. <br /> She stated that the Committee members needed to gather <br /> more information before raking a decision. Ms . Gibbs <br /> asked Dr. DeMoura for the job descriptions of all the <br /> positions affected. <br /> 7 . 3 Brazilian Exchange Student Mashpee Dost Family - Dr. <br /> DeMoura stated he had received a phone call from a i <br /> M sh ee host family of Brazilian exchange student <br /> requesting approval from the School Committee for this <br /> student to attend Falmouth High School . He explained <br /> that by giving permission, the town of Mashpee would <br /> have to pay this student' s tuition. As the dost family <br /> was not present at the meeting, Dr. DeMoura suggested <br />
