MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE - REGULAR MEETING - JULY 51 199S PAGE 5 <br /> high school' s anticipated completion date. <br /> 5. 6 Mashpee Summer....�,School Sandra Feeley presented an <br /> overview of the summer school program and enrollments to <br /> date . she stated that it is going well but the <br /> participation is not as high as they had hoped. Mrs. <br /> Malls stated that it was a good start, congratulated Ms. <br /> Feeley, and asked her to thank her staff for their <br /> efforts . Dr. DeMoura reported that they will probably <br /> lose about $1, 500 in this program and hoped to be able <br /> to have a little extra in the revolving account to cover <br /> this loss . <br /> Vi . 6. 1 Meeting with Association - Discussed under Public Forum. <br /> Specifically <br /> Assigned/ 6.2 superintendent' s Evaluation - Maryanne Gibbs presented <br /> Unfinished to the Committee this evaluation and stated that Mr. <br /> Business Censalvi and Mr. Paxton participated in the evaluation <br /> process . The information was collated from all school <br /> Committee members, excluding Mrs . Lynch but including <br /> Dr. Ptti . The evaluation was as follows : <br /> Relationships with the school Committee : 8 <br /> Community Relations : <br /> Staff and Personnel Relationships : 8 <br /> Educational Leadership; 8 <br /> Business and Finance: 8 <br /> Personal Qualities : 8 <br /> Ms . Gibbs stated that the overall evaluation was <br /> commendable. Dr. DeMoura thanked the Committee. <br /> 6. 3 Meeting with Board of Selectmen - Mrs . Mills stated this <br /> was already addressed. This meeting will be set up for <br /> the first Selectmen' s meeting held after September 1st. <br /> 6. 4 special Meeting to Discuss Principles of Effective <br /> Teaching and Effective Administrative Leadership - Mrs . <br /> Mills stated that a special meeting needed to be held to <br /> discuss this more thoroughly,. Dr. DeMoura felt that <br /> eventually there would need to be a public meeting on <br /> this and suggested that the first meeting be to go over <br /> the document itself and to address questions that the <br /> Committee might have. Mrs . Mills stated that the next <br /> regular school Committee meeting is scheduled for August <br />
