MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE - REGULAR MEETING - SEPTEMBER 6. 1995 PAGE <br /> On a motion made by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Mr. Paxton, It <br /> was decided the surveys would be distributed and picked up by <br /> representatives of the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod, <br /> Copying and supplies would be the responsibility of the Bogs <br /> and Girls Club of Cape Cod. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 7 .3 Educational Foundation Liaison - Dr, BeMoura explained the <br /> purpose of the- Educational. Foundation and said a member of the <br /> School. Committee should serge on this committee. Mrs. Mills <br /> volunteered her time to serge. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Lynch, seconded by Mr, Paxton, for Mrs. <br /> Mills to be the Educational Foundation Liaison. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 7 . SMPTE Pilot Pro tarn - Audio Visual Technician Michael. <br /> Pietrowski had asked the Committee's permission to attend <br /> Technical. Conference in New Orleans on September 8, 1995 for <br /> SMPTE. Mrs. Mills asked Michael Pietrows i to explain the <br /> Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) <br /> organization and .its purpose. <br /> � - <br /> Mr. Pietrows} i described the orc ani a.ti.on and asked for the <br /> School Committee to establish a SMPTE chapter in Mashpee so <br /> that students can observe first-hand technology improvements. <br /> Dr. DeMoura supported Mr. Pietrowski l s request to establish a <br /> SMPTE pilot program in Mashpee. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Mr. Paxton, to <br /> support the Mashpee SMPTE chapter, not the proposed budget. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> VIII . . 1 Sub-Committee Reports <br /> Committee <br /> Reports 8. 1. 1 Negotiations - Mr. Paxton said no meeting has been set. <br /> . 1 .2 ' i h School Committee - Dr. DeMoura said the first <br /> meeting of the 1.995-1.996 school year is scheduled for <br /> September 21 at p.m. in the Middle School.
