Motion was seconded by Mr. Paxton, VOTE: Unanimous Dr. DeMoura will contact the Teachers Association to undertake the required negotiations as defined in Section 38 of Chapter 71 of the General Laws regarding revision to regulations on evaluation of teachers and adminis trat ion 's and principles of effective teaching and leadership* VIII . Dr. DeMoura addressed two issues relative to the Leisure revised Leisure Services bylaws. He stated that Services language be inserted that would recognize the Bylaws responsibility of Leisure Services to assume energy, custodial and maintenance costs for programs inside and outside the building when they use it. Dr. DeMoura also expressed concern over use of the buildings wherein the proposed bylaw states, "Unless program offerings of the Leisure Service Department directly affect the normal use of School facilities, they shall be granted permi s ion for use. " He thought this perhaps may present the use of the building by other outside groups. Discussion followed, Mr. Gonsalvi raised funding issues, Mrs, Mild. asked how do other towns address funding issues on their facilities and suggested Finance Committee involvement. Discussion then followed regarding the addition of a high school gymnasium, its usage and funding. On behalf of the Leisure Services Advisory Council, Maureen Paxton asked the School Committee to approve the Leisure Services Bylaws as printed with a proviso regarding new language once the high school gymnasium is completed. Motion made by Mrs. Lynch to accept the Leisure Services bylaws as printed with a proviso to be amended by the time the high school opens to address energy casts. Motion was seconded by Mr. Paxton.
