Tippo recommended approval of the report card format as revised. <br /> Motion made by lairs.Lynch to accept the new Progress Report for <br /> Grades*1-3 as revised. <br /> Motion seconded by firs. Cook. <br /> VOTE <br /> Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> 6.2 Review-of beciatEduration Pro ani: <br /> Grace Day,Director of Special Education discussed the Mashpee Special <br /> Education Program Evaluation as prepared by Dr. John Beach of Bridges <br /> Associates, Inc, of Hyannis dated June 19, 1995. <br /> Mn.Day discussed the evaluation as presented in a memo to the School <br /> Superintendent dated September 26, 1995. <br /> The evaluation focused on gree areas; the Early Childhood Identification <br /> process,the Pre-Referral process and the application of Feast Restrictive <br /> Environment. It was noted that the staff in addition to the special needs <br /> students and parents submitted input into the evaluation survey. <br /> With reference to the Early Childhood Identification Process,Mrs. Flay <br /> indicated that the incidence rate is consistent with state results and attests <br /> to the validity of the early childhood identification process in liashpee. <br /> The Teacher Assistance Team Pre-Referral Process has been highly <br /> effective. The number of referrals have also remained stable. <br /> The Leat Restrictive Environment standards are also consistent with <br /> state-wide averages. Mrs. Day indicated that 1 lashpee applies (LRE)more <br /> effectively than other towns on a state-wide basis. <br />
