Review f i t EducatiQn Program& <br /> Mrs.Day indicated that Ma hpee has moved aggressively and appropriately <br /> into an inclusive service delivery model for students with special needs. <br /> To maintain its successful profile,continued staff training and planning <br /> are essential. <br /> With regards to the Early Childhood program known as Project Create, <br /> Mrs. Day indicated that they are currently seeking classroom and storage <br /> space. Project Create will be moving from its present location <br /> in approximately four weeks. <br /> V1I. 7.1 Mash Hi h School Graduation Requirements: <br /> New The High School Committee voted unanimously to recommended the <br /> Business school Committee adopt the following High School {graduation <br /> requirements indicated Mr. Williams. <br /> Beginning with the Class of the year, 2000, all students must accumulate <br /> a total o 2 units as described; <br /> English 4 units (English --IV <br /> Mathematics 4 units <br /> Science 4 units <br /> Social Studies 4 units 1 unit in U.S. History) <br /> Applied Education 1 unit <br /> Fine Arts 1 unit <br /> World Language 1 unit <br /> Health .6 units <br /> Physical Education .8 units <br /> Free Electives 3.6 units <br /> Total: 24 units <br /> It was noted that Applied Education consists of Communication,Life <br /> Skills,Technology and nforrnataon Managerment systems. <br /> Fine Arts include;Drama,Music and Visual Arts. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Consalvi to approve the I ashpee High school <br /> Graduation Requirements as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Ir. Paxton. <br /> YQUE; Unanimous. - . <br />
