MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE - r CIAL MEETING - JANUARY 11, 1996 PAGE 10 <br /> Viii , 8 . 1 External Reports <br /> Committee <br /> Reports 8 .2. 1 Cape Cod Collaborative - Mr. Consalvi said the <br /> (continued) Collaborative net on December 7 at which time they discussed <br /> the upcoming FY97 budget process, Sandwich will be joining <br /> the Collaborative, expansion of the substitute teacher call- <br /> in service, medicaid to town increased, and workshops are <br /> upcoming. <br /> 8.2.2 Leisure Services - Mrs. Cook said the meetings that <br /> had been scheduled for January 2 and January 9 were snowed <br /> out, however, a meeting for January 2 , 1996 was set up at <br /> p.m. At a meeting held on December 5, discussion <br /> centered on usage of the high school where Mr. Williams <br /> outlined types of facility usage stressing having qualified <br /> staff present. <br /> 8.2 .3 School Building Committee - Although Mrs. Mills was <br /> absent, Mr. Williams discussed the high school construction <br /> and its delay. The next meeting is set for January 17 . <br /> 8.2 .4 Legislation - No report this evening due to Mrs. <br /> Mills f absence. <br /> 8.2 .5 Safe Transportation Task Force - Mr. Paxton reported <br /> on the meeting held on November 28, 1995 where it seems <br /> everyth-.ng is going well and the routes will be reviewed in <br /> the spring regarding efficiency. The next meeting is <br /> scheduled for January 16, 1996. <br /> 8.2 .6 Personnel - Mrs. Cook said a meeting was held on <br /> January 18 at 2 :00 p.m. where the upcoming Job Fair in <br /> Boston was discussed. Dr, DeMoura will be attending that <br /> event. <br /> Ix. Mrs. Lynch asked if Mary Russell had returned from Great <br /> Other Britain on her Fulbright Scholarship program, Dr, DeMoura <br /> asked that, yes, she had. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Mrs. Lynch, to move <br /> Executive into executive session at 9:41 p.m. <br /> Session Roll Call Vote: In favor - Mr. Payton, Mr. Consalvi, Mrs. <br /> Lynch, and Mrs. Cook. <br /> Ki.
