MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING - JANUARY 11, 1996 PACE 7 6 , 3 MASCMASS Post Conference Report - Mr. Paxton reported that the Annual MA C/MASS Conference held in November went well, i VII -0 . 1 Ratification of Unit B Agreement - Motion made by Mrs. New Lynch, seconded by Mrs. Cook, to approve the Unit B Con- Business tractual Salary Agreement for E 97-F 9 9. VOTE: Unanimous 7 .2 Grade 6 Hepatitis B Vaccination - Br. DeMoura explained that all Grade 6 students will be offered the Hepatitis B vaccination this year. It will be a series of three separate vaccinations that will he administered. Dr. BeMoura asked that a letter to parents as well as permission slip and information sheet be- sent home informing parents of this vaccination. Motion made by Mrs. Lynch, seconded by Mr. Consal i, to approve the Hepatitis B vaccination program, NOTE: Unanimous 7 . 3 Committee Training - MAC - On behalf of Mrs. Mills who was absent this evening, Br, DeMoura mentioned the po si ility of having a representative from MASC address the Committee on the' responsibilities of school Committee members. Mrs. Lynch suggested waiting until, the February Committee meeting to discuss. 7 .4 Ski Trips - Because they are out-of-state ski trips, Dr. DeMoura asked the fallowing ski trips be approved for grades , 7, and 8. January 13, 1996 - Day trip to lagged Mountain, New Hap hire January 27 , .19 96 - Day trip to "Mystery Mountain, New Hampshire February 9, 10, 11, 1996 - weekend trip to Loon Mountain, New Hampshire March 2, 199 - Day trip to Loom Mountain, New Hampshire i Motion Stade by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Mrs. Lynch, to grant permission for students of grades 6, 7, and 8 to go on the' aove-name skip trips. Mr. Paxton asked if there would be a time and learning problem for those students who leave early, Dr. DeMoura will investigate. VOTE: Unanimous
