MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING - JANUARY 11, 1996 PACE 7 <br /> 6 , 3 MASCMASS Post Conference Report - Mr. Paxton reported <br /> that the Annual MA C/MASS Conference held in November went <br /> well, <br /> i <br /> VII -0 . 1 Ratification of Unit B Agreement - Motion made by Mrs. <br /> New Lynch, seconded by Mrs. Cook, to approve the Unit B Con- <br /> Business tractual Salary Agreement for E 97-F 9 9. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 7 .2 Grade 6 Hepatitis B Vaccination - Br. DeMoura explained that <br /> all Grade 6 students will be offered the Hepatitis B <br /> vaccination this year. It will be a series of three <br /> separate vaccinations that will he administered. Dr. <br /> BeMoura asked that a letter to parents as well as <br /> permission slip and information sheet be- sent home informing <br /> parents of this vaccination. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Lynch, seconded by Mr. Consal i, to <br /> approve the Hepatitis B vaccination program, <br /> NOTE: Unanimous <br /> 7 . 3 Committee Training - MAC - On behalf of Mrs. Mills who was <br /> absent this evening, Br, DeMoura mentioned the po si ility <br /> of having a representative from MASC address the Committee <br /> on the' responsibilities of school Committee members. Mrs. <br /> Lynch suggested waiting until, the February Committee meeting <br /> to discuss. <br /> 7 .4 Ski Trips - Because they are out-of-state ski trips, Dr. <br /> DeMoura asked the fallowing ski trips be approved for grades <br /> , 7, and 8. <br /> January 13, 1996 - Day trip to lagged Mountain, New <br /> Hap hire <br /> January 27 , .19 96 - Day trip to "Mystery Mountain, New <br /> Hampshire <br /> February 9, 10, 11, 1996 - weekend trip to Loon Mountain, <br /> New Hampshire <br /> March 2, 199 - Day trip to Loom Mountain, New Hampshire <br /> i <br /> Motion Stade by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Mrs. Lynch, to <br /> grant permission for students of grades 6, 7, and 8 to go on <br /> the' aove-name skip trips. <br /> Mr. Paxton asked if there would be a time and learning <br /> problem for those students who leave early, Dr. DeMoura <br /> will investigate. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br />
