Trailers - Dr, DeMoura informed the Committee that <br /> the Superintendent's office will be relocating to the rear <br /> of Town Hall and placed in temporary trailers during the <br /> Fawn Hall renovations. <br /> STI. 6 , 1 Leisure Services Advisory Council Candidate Selection - Mr. <br /> Specifically Paxton explained that both candidates who wished to be the <br /> Assigned/ School Committee Liaison were excellent; however, the School <br /> Unfinished Committee selected Kimberly Whitney, 52 old Colony Drive, <br /> Business Ma hpee, M.A. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. cook, seconded by Mrs. Lynch, to appoint <br /> Kimberly Whitney as the School Committee Liaison to the <br /> Leisure Services Advisory Council. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> .2 Cleaning Services_ - iiigh. School - Dr. DeMoura explained the <br /> three-year cleaning bid for Mas pee High School.. There were <br /> four bidders and As You Like It Cleaning submitted the <br /> lowest bid at $318,340 over three years, saving the School <br /> Department $428,540. Dr. DeMoura asked the Committee for <br /> two votes: one, to have a private contractor clean the high <br /> school commencing September, 1996; and two, to award the <br /> contract to As You Like It Cleaning co. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Consalvi, seconded by Mrs. Lynch, to <br /> privatize the high school cleaning. <br /> Mrs. Lynch asked if CORI checks will be made and if nametags <br /> will be worn by the company. Dar, DeMoura responded yes to <br /> both questions. <br /> Mrs. Cook asked if the company was found unacceptable for a <br /> reason, how long would they be hired Dr. DeMoura said <br /> 80-day notice would be given. <br /> Mrs. Lynch asked if the custodial union is aware of <br /> tonightfs. action.
