Dr, DeMoura <br /> suggested taking $20, 000 from high school. maintenance, eliminating <br /> the Network Administrator for now at $50, 000 and move $30,000 t o <br /> high school equipment maintenance, and taking $24 ,000 out of high <br /> school. utilities. <br /> Mrs, Lynch stressed the need for librarians while Mrs. Cook <br /> suggested having a library assistant at the Coombs School for 32 .5 <br /> hour per week and at the Middle School, have a library assistant <br /> but also a profe Tonal librarian at the Middle School who would <br /> oversee Coombs School. activities. She also suggested elimintating <br /> two 19-hour assistants in favor of one full-time librarian wi one <br /> 1 -hour assistant at the Middle School. <br /> Mrs. Mills reiterated the need for having professional librarians <br /> in each school, i.e. , three full-time librarians in each building <br /> and eliminating intramurals for grades 7 ,1 8 and 9 . <br /> VO In favor of Mr. Consal is motion of $8,500, 000 - Mr. <br /> Consalvi, Mrs, Mills, Mrs. Cook, and Mrs. Lynch; opposed - Mr. <br /> Paxton. <br /> Mrs, Mills mentioned that "Day-on-the-Hill" is scheduled for <br /> Wednesday, May 1, 1996, the regular School Committee meeting date. <br /> The School Committee was rescheduled for Thursday, May 2, 1936. <br /> A. motion was made by Mrs. Cook and seconded by Mr. Consalvi to <br /> adjourn the special School.
