" <br /> 6 .2 F 9 - Bud et $8 ,400, 000 - Mrs. Lynch asked Dr. BeMoura if <br /> the budget is down to $8,400,000. Br. DeMoura said he will <br /> bring a plan to the Committee next month. <br /> 6 ,3 Food Service Contract - Br. I eMoura said the food service <br /> contract bid was opened on April 12, 1996 with only one <br /> vendor submitting a bid. That vendor was Canteen Food <br /> Services t Waltham, MA. Dr, BeMoura said that Canteen would <br /> provide the vehicle to carry food from one location to <br /> another as well as cafeteria monitors. The yearly <br /> management fee would be $4 ,000 while total administrative <br /> Service Changes have increased from $8,000-$10, 000. <br /> Dr. DeMoura recommended Canteen Food Services for a three- <br /> year bid. <br /> Motion made by Mr, Consalvi, seconded by Mrs. Cook, to <br /> approve the superintendent's recommendation. <br /> Discussion then followed on the number of cafeteria monitors <br /> that would be needed at each school. <br /> Mr, Consalvi rescinded his motion after discussion o <br /> requesting Attorney Butler to review Canteen's price <br /> proposal. <br /> Mrs. Cook then rescinded her second. <br /> Mrs. Mills asked ]fire DeMoura to contact Attorney Butler to <br /> review Canteen f s price proposal. <br /> This topic will be discussed at the June meeting. <br /> 6A RFP - Modular Classrooms - The specific tions for modular <br /> classrooms (only needed if the high school will not be <br /> completed by September 19 6) were included in the packet. <br /> Dr. DeMoura stated that the high school building committee <br /> has verbally informed him the high school will be ready in <br /> r <br />
