Page 13 <br /> Mashpee School Committee <br /> Minutes-Regular Meeting <br /> October 2, 1996 <br /> VII. 7.7 Pupil Progress Report: Grades 1-3 <br /> Snecifically <br /> Assirg ted/ School Council member, Mary Claire Dinizio, suggested the Committee <br /> Unfinished not duplicate or burden the process by obtaining input from parents <br /> Business at the Mini Town Meeting. <br /> (continued) <br /> Mrs. Dinizio stated that a sub-committee was formed to evaluate the <br /> format of the progress reports. At that time, input was received from <br /> interested parents. The design of a school report card should be the <br /> task of the School Committee or School Administration stated Mrs. Dinizio. <br /> In addition, Mrs. Dinizio recommended the Committee prepare a specific <br /> format for the Mini Town Meeting with a Moderator to maintain control <br /> and alleviate potential upset. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Cook to approve the Pupil Progress Report <br /> Grades 1-3 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Lynch. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> VIII. 8.1 Special Instructional Programs and Accommodations Policy IGB <br /> New <br /> Business Discussion followed with respect to Special Instructional Programs <br /> and Accommodations for children with special needs as set forth in <br /> Policy IGB of the Mashpee School Committee. <br /> It is the consensus of the Committee to incorporate the following <br /> language to the IGB Policy, to include with the following guideline; <br /> - common planning time for Sped liaisons and classroom teachers <br /> Agenda item,next month for approval. <br />
