Page 16 <br /> Mashpee School Committee <br /> Minutes-Regular Meeting <br /> October 2, 1996 <br /> IX. 9.1 Sub-Committee Reports: <br /> Committee <br /> Reports 9.1.1 Negotiations <br /> All negotiations have been settled with all units reported Mrs. Lynch. <br /> 9.1.2 High School <br /> No report at this time. <br /> 9.1.3. Elementary School <br /> Mrs. Cook noted that Pupil Progress Reports; Grades 1-3 was the <br /> topic of discussion at the meeting of September 24, 1996. <br /> 9.2 External Reports <br /> 9.2.1 Cape Cod Collaborative <br /> It was noted that the Collaborative is ready to assume space at the <br /> Middle School, Room 151. <br /> 9.2.2 Leisure Services <br /> Mrs. Cook indicated that Leisure Services are scheduled to further review <br /> the School Use Policy with the School Superintendent and Principals <br /> as previously noted. <br /> Leisure Services would like to implement e-mail, fax and new calendar <br /> software informed Mrs. Cook who noted that the next scheduled meeting <br /> is November 12, 1996 at the Middle School. <br /> 9.2.3 School Building Committee <br /> Mrs. Mills announced the official opening of the new High School <br /> facility. The committee will be meeting next week. Parents and students <br /> will be invited to tour the facility, at a date and time to be announced. <br /> 9.2.4 Legislation <br /> No report at this time. <br /> 9.2.5 Safe Transportation Task Force <br /> Mr. Paxton updated the Committee with respect to recent transportation <br /> issues that have effected Mashpee during the first month of the school year. <br /> The next meeting is scheduled on October 15, 1996 at the Middle School <br /> Library. <br />
