She said for this year, that poses no problem; however, next <br /> year, that will not be allowed. <br /> 8.4 Ouashnet schools' ala ound Update - Mr. Tippo updated the i <br /> Committee on the status of the Quashnet schools playground. He said <br /> 860,000 pennies have been raised so far, but more is needed to be raised <br /> so the program will continue. A meeting with the Massachusetts <br /> National Guard was held to discuss ground preparation. The Mashpee <br /> Educator's Association and the K.i anis Club raised $700 from the <br /> Easter Bunny Breakfast for the playground project. <br /> Mr. Tippo said the playground Will cost $30,000 which sloes not include <br /> the undercoating and railroad ties. A rough estimate on how much <br /> money has been raised or donated is approximately $25,000. <br /> 7.1 personnel <br /> eport of <br /> Super- 7.2 Leave of Absence - Dr. DeMoura infor~rned the Committee that <br /> tendent Dianne J. L u has requested leave of absence for the 1997-1998 <br /> school year. Dr. DeMoura recommended approval. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Lynch approving recommendation of the <br /> Superintendent for a leave of absence for the 1997-1998 school year with <br /> the understanding that Ms. L. of cannot take another teaching job. <br /> Motion was seconded by Mrs. Mills. <br /> OT : Unanimous <br />
