r MAS IP E SCHOOL COMMITTEE --- SPECIALS MEETING — AUGUST 20, 1997 PAGE 2 Mrs. Lynch asked if there would be any costs incurred? Dr. DeMoura said that was unknown at this time. .2 Mr. and Mrs. Alec Watt — Mr. and Mrs. Watt sent correspondence regarding a taus pickup on a dangerous area of Pimlico Pond Road. Mrs. Lynch said she would discuss their issue under the Safe Transportation ortation Tasl Force later in the meeting. 5.3 M.1A.S.C. Workshop -- Mrs. Lynch asked the Committee if any members were interested in attending a workshop on September I9thand 20th in Marlborough. Those interested were asked to notify the Superintendent's office. Also, Mrs. Lynch suggested holding future M.A.S.C. workshops in Mashpee High School for ease of traveling for other school committee members from Cape Cod school districts. Dr. Delloura will follow-up with I.A,S.C. 5.4 Fetter to the Editor from Dr. Elizabeth Petti — Mrs. Lynch agreed with Dr. Petti in that the School Committee sloes not have any goals set for this school year. As a result, Mrs. Lynch asked to have this issue placed on the September agenda and each member will have their on goals to discuss then. .5 National School hoard — Mrs. Mills said there is no need to join this association because she is a member noir. STI. 'Vere was no Student Advisory Council member present at Student Advisory tonight's meeting.
