Chairwoman Kathleen Lynch, Theresa Cook., Maryanne Macdonald, <br /> and Janie Mills. Stephen Paxton was absent this evening. Also in attendance <br /> was Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lincoln A. TeMora. <br /> The special meeting was called to order by Mrs. Lynch at 7;04 p.m. in high <br /> school room -103. <br /> Mrs. Lynch said the purpose of this meeting was to continue the on-going <br /> discussions regarding the FY99 Budget. <br /> 10 Technology Committee Report <br /> Dr. DeMoura introduced the members of the technology committee in the <br /> audience. They were teachers Carol I ottrid e, Bob Bailer, Coombs <br /> School Librarian Diane Kingsley, Network Administrator Joe Augenblicl . <br /> Marie Frank joined there later. <br /> Dr. I eMoura explained the three-gear technology Plan wherein <br /> technology purchases for FY95, FY96 and F Y9 7. They were as follows: <br /> FY95 FY96 <br /> $1057040 <br /> Expenditure $18,812 $282623 includes QS falx <br /> replacement) <br /> Salaries $ 703 70,055 $74,094 <br /> Enrollment 1,404 12490 11621 <br /> [Per Pupil Cost $60.45 $66.23 $110.51 <br /> In FY98, the Network Administrator's salary and an elementary r computer <br /> teacher will need to be added. <br /> Mrs. Dottridge and Mr. Bailey gage an over-view of the future plans of the <br /> technology program. Mrs. Dottrid e noted there are currently more <br /> computers than users in the elements schools. Dr. f eMo ra <br /> recommended one more additional staff member should be considered at <br /> the elementary levels. <br />
