Projected Enrollments - FY99 Dr. I eMo ra ran a printout of the latest enrollments as oftoday (9/ 17/97). The schools' projected enrollments were as follows: Coombs School - 512 Quashnet Valley School - 439 Quashnet River School -- 351 1lashpee High school - 526 Falmouth High School - 160 1,988 total enrollments Ms. Macdonald expressed concern over the legitimacy of some Mashpee residents. Discussion followed o the procedures taken during neer resident registering children in the school system. 3. Projected Enrollments - FY99 Discussion followed on additional classes in grades 5 in the Quashnet Valley School for next year. Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee Comments Finance Committee liaison Nancy Goulart asked if student fees could be charged for students participating in after--school sports programs: Mrs. Lynch said the majority of students cannot afford to pay activity fees. Board of Selectmen liaison Keri Ma sters said he and Ms. Go lart are attending these budget meetings to learn the budget process of the School Department. They will have questions and comments by the December or January budget meetings. In other business, Mrs. Lynch said there will be a R.A.G,E. press conference on Tuesday, September 23, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. in the Barnstable Town Hall. Whore will be a High School Building Committee meeting on Wednesday, September 24, 1997 at 4:00 p.m.
