Staffing <br /> Audio-Visual Technician Michael Piotrowski addressed the Committee <br /> requesting a part-time audio-visual technician to begin work in January. <br /> He said that with the additional duties at the schools, he finds it more <br /> difficult to keep up with his work demands. <br /> He also requested a190-day Person for FY99. <br /> The acre requests will be placed on the December agenda. <br /> Mr. Pietro ski thanked the Society of Motion Picture Television <br /> Engineers SMPT staff for their fine work during the Superintendent 2s <br /> conference held on November 7, 1997. <br /> Dr. DeMoura discussed a substitute teacher Per diem survey that he had <br /> conducted with other Cape school districts. He found that Mashpee is <br /> one of three that are currently on the lowest pay scale. He recommended <br /> an increase from $50.00 l r day to $55--.00. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Mills, to approve ;the Superintendent's <br /> recommendation of increasing the substitute teacher Per diem rate from <br /> $50.00 to $55.00 effective immediately. Motion was seconded by Ms. <br /> Macdonald. <br /> NOTE: Unanimous. <br /> .
